CM deputes DRC to attend Chennai flood affected Arunachalees

NEW DELHI December 7:Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has deputed Kesang Ngurup Damo, Deputy Resident Commissioner, Arunachal Bhavan, New Delhi to immediately rush to Chennai to attend to the flood affected students, patients and other community members of Arunachal Pradesh presently residing in Chennai city.

Damo will assess the situation and co-ordinate with the Government of Tamil Nadu to provide required assistance and relief to the affected students and other members from Arunachal Pradesh in Chennai.


The Chief Minister has assured to provide all possible help and support to the affected students pursuing different educational courses and patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Chennai. Parents and relatives may contact Damo at his mobile number: 09560559917 for any query.
