RATIONCARD 12 11 2013TAWANG: New programmed rations cards are being issued under AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) to Priority Households of Tawang circle under Tawang district. Further, all ADC’s (Additional District Comissioner) cum CO’s (Circle Officer) of the district have been requested to issue fresh ration cards to the selected beneficiaries under this scheme.

Tuki pitches for creation of separate cadre for Arunachal

tuki 1NEW DELHI: Even if more than two weeks left before a new state govt comes into place but Chief Minister Nabam Tuki doesn’t believe in chilling out his time.
Paying a visit to the national capital, Tuki today called on Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at the latter’s North Block office and urged for creation of a separate cadre for Arunachal Pradesh of All India Services like the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) by separating it from the existing joint cadre of AGMUT.

Two 'EPL coaches' on talent hunt drive

football-abstract-6aItanagar: English Premier League outfit Reading Football Club coaches Keith Greene and Jamie Carr along with advisor Tomo Nomuk began their six-month-long coaching cum talent hunt at the Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) at Chimpu, near here.

The coaching camp was kicked off by Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA) Vice Chairman Likha Tara yesterday.

AP CM announces corpus fund for Tawang monastery

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has announced a slew of measures for Tawang district, bordering China, including a corpus fund of Rs 4 crore for the famous Tawang monastery and Rs 1 crore for starting retention work of landslide hit areas.

Company of the STPF to protect tigers in Arunachal

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh will soon recruit over 100 personnel for a company of the Special Tiger Protection Force to protect big cats from being poached, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki told on Friday said.
