Governor, CM congratulate karate team

tuki singleITANAGAR, Sept 21: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh JP Rajkhowa and Chief Minister Nabam Tuki congratulated Karatekas of the State for their brilliant performance in the recently concluded Commonwealth Karate Championship 2015 at New Delhi. He also congratulated the coach and officials of Arunachal Karate Do Association for the success.


The Governor said that they have made the State, Region and Nation proud by winning six gold medals, three silver and three bronze medals at the prestigious International Competition.


Reposing his faith on the inborn potential for martial art and adventure sports among the youths of the State, the Governor expressed hope that the martial art practitioners will maintain the same tempo and competitive spirit and clinch medals in the Olympics also in the future.


The Governor exhorted the youth of the State to draw inspiration from the exemplary performance of the Karatekas and excel in their chosen fields.

 

He said that there is no substitute for sheer determination, hard work, dedication and commitment to achieve success.
