Girls outshine boys in APJEE Taku Rini, Samripa Paul tops merit list

taku riniITANAGAR, May 31: Consistently the girls have outshined the boys in Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2015.

Taku Rini of Donyi-Polo Vidya Bhawan Itanagar has topped the PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) category-I this year while Samripa Paul has topped in the category-II.
Apart from DPVB, Rini did her schooling from JNV, Doimukh and Blue Pine School in Ziro, Lower Subansiri district.
She joined Scholars Institute, Itanagar for one year coaching.
While speaking to this daily, she expressed happiness over her success and credited it to hardwork and punctuality. “I balanced time nicely and slept properly” Rini said.

While sharing his secret mantra of cracking the joint entrance examination, Tumgam Kaye disclosed that he distanced himself from smart phone and managed time properly. He credited his success to his teachers at Scholar Institute Itanagar and his parents for guidance.
Shashi Pandey was ranked second in Category-II while Geyum Ete(C-I) and Deepak Kumar Thakur(C-II) were in the third rank respectively.
Out of 5373 applicants, 4317 candidates have appeared the joint entrance examination, informed Dr Tejum Padu, Director Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education.
The exams were conducted on May 30 and the results declared today, a tradition of declaring the results within shortest possible time was followed and maintained by the Department.
In Diploma (Mathematics and Science) Category-I, Guining Pertin topped the rankings while Lejum Gongo and Linu Kato are in rank-two and three respectively. In Category-II, Srishti Jha, Debrup Sarkar and Bishal Dey got the first three positions.
