CM visits proposed site for All Women College took stock of the ongoing work.

cm oAadil Mir, Itanagar, Aug 08: Working promises made during campaign, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki made a site visit of proposed All Women College at state capital today. A well built shopping complex constructed by UD department at Lekhi Village, Naharlagun which is presently defunct has been chosen for the temporary site for the maiden college.

CM Inaugurates New College at Manmao

collegeDevesh Dubey, Itanagar, Aug 02: Concentrating on better education facilities in the state Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has gifted the state yet another college facility Venerable Uktara Bethany College. The newly inaugurated college which is all set to start its first academic session will have 60 students in its first batch. Tuki, on his first district (Lohit) tour after taking over as Chief Minister of the state for the 2nd consecutive term, who reached Namsai today also assessed the progress of several projects in the sub-division.

Education Is Mandatory And Should Be Everybody’s Mission.

During the introduction of Parliamentary Secretary (Education) Bamang Felix to the senior Education officers of education department at Banquet Hall, Taloh urged the officers to work hard to fulfill the hope and belief of the people.

EDUCATION SYSTEM IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH

eduDevesh Dubey, New Delhi, June 17: Arunachal Pradesh has made significant progress in the field of Education. Literacy rate in the State has increased from 25% (1981 Census) to approximately 66% as per 2011 Census. However, unlike other States almost all educational institutions in the State are Government Institutions. The inadequacy of these physical facilities is a hindrance to proper functioning and qualitative improvement of education in the State. Thus, for ensuring access to universal elementary education, the State needs special support from the Central Government.
