Govt accords priority to economic growth of state: CM

tuki 111111111111ITANAGAR, Dec 4: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today inaugurated the office building of Circle Officer, Sangdupota and upgradation of Govt Middle School to Govt Secondary School at Byesernyelo in presence of large number of dignitaries including Govt officers and panchayat leaders.


Addressing the huge gathering on the occasion Chief Minister said that his Govt is focusing on all round development to accelerate the economic growth of the state through various developmental schemes including road infrastructure, skill development, tea and rubber plantations and other welfare activities.
Calling Sangdupota circle as one of the most beautiful places in with huge potential for tourism activities Tuki called upon the people to create tourism friendly atmosphere to attract domestic as well as foreign tourists.


Reiterating that state government has accorded top priority in development of road infrastructure and communication facilities, Tuki informed that road from Itanagar-Jote and Sangdupota which falls under State Highways will be made double lane as many more important institutions and projects are being established in the area.

 

He opined that in days to come life of local populace will also change with changing time.

 

He also requested the people to create development friendly atmosphere and to constantly monitor the quality of road construction and other development activities and judicious utilization of fund. He also announced that a new Community Development Block will be created for Sangdupota circle.


Speaker Legislative Assembly cum local MLA Nabam Rebia in his address reiterated on saving the rivers from pollution and cautioned the local populace to not to littered the river bank by throwing non-degradable items and by constructing their toilet towards river bank. Highlighting the importance of rivers he said that rivers not only gives foods and water but it is also a source of great recreation activities like river rafting and angling, he added.
