Students, parents throng Itanagar career fair

fairITANAGAR: A large number of students along with their parents flocked in today at the 5th Itanagar Career Fair-2014 that is being organized by SAPE, a Kolkata based leading educational fair organizer of South Asia at Hotel Arun Subansiri. Most of the participating students were found enquiring for engineering and medical institutes.

Altogether 30 leading institutions from across the country including Indian Air Force are participating in this year’s fair which would provide the aspiring students and their parents the opportunity to gain expert opinion.
Sanjay Thapa, managing director of SAPE, who has been organizing this career fair since 2010, expressed happiness over the turnout of students and their parents. “It is very encouraging to see such large number of students visiting the fair,” added Thapa while hoping that like every year this year too, the students will get lots of benefits from the fair.
Stating that the students visiting this fair should try to avail the opportunities being provided here, he said, “The main objective of this career fair is to give the students proper guidance on quality education, and opportunities to study in different parts of India and abroad.”
The fair which will conclude tomorrow is being organized in collaboration with state’s Higher and Technical Education Department.
