Infrastructural Development: A Necessity for Arunachal Pradesh

Infrastructural DevelopmentDevesh Dubey, New Delhi, July 8: Situation on Indochina border is discerning and needs immediate attention as in a recently released map, China has shown Arunachal Pradesh as its territory; which has drawn strong criticism from India. On India’s part, a lot is to be done to secure the border areas. The most important step being developing infrastructure across borders to aid our border security forces. Narendra Modi Government proposes an additional allocation of Rs 5,000 crore in the upcoming Union Budget to resettle people in the areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh. This Rs 5,000 crore allocation is over and above the earlier allocation of Rs 28,000 crore sanctioned previously by the Center.

IMPROVING SKILL DEVELOPMENT MISSION OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH

skillDevesh Dubey, Itanagar, July 7: The major agenda for the government in the coming years would be job creation as India has a proportionately high younger population. The government needs to focus on skill development and creating skilled manpower as proposed policy changes.

Arunachal Pradesh is up with the challenges of growing number of unemployed youth in the state. The state government has accorded utmost priority to youth development ever since Nabam Tuki assumed the Chief Minister’s chair.

Environment ministry is no more a barrier: Prakash Javadekar

Jaitley assures integrated dispensation for vibrant development of border areas of Arunachal

ARUN JAITELYAadil Mir, New Delhi, July 1: In a significant development Union Minister of Finance, Defence and Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley will visit the state along with the Chief of Army Staff after the Parliament session. He conveyed the same to CM Nabam Tuki when the latter called on him at New Delhi to discuss the matters related to the Union Ministry of Finance. Jaitley will visit Tawang and also inaugurate the National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (NIMAS) at Dirang.

Centre To Revamp Environment Clearance System To Speed Up Hydro Project Implementation In State

tukiooNew Delhi, June 30: In a significant development Union Minister of State for Environment & Forests Prakash Javedekar said that he is expediting the Forest Clearance of the 3000 MW Dibang Hydropower Project in Arunachal Pradesh.  He further informed that his ministry is in the process of overhauling the entire forest and environment clearance mechanism so as to speed up the implementation of hydropower projects in the state. This was disclosed by the Union minister when Chief Minister Nabam Tuki called on the Minister in New Delhi.

'Arunachal Pradesh committed to achieve 100% literacy by 2019'
