Justice Roy calls on CM

2ITANAGAR, May 16: Guwahati High Court Judge, Justice Hrishikesh Roy called on Chief Minister Nabam Tuki at the latter’s offices here this afternoon. In presence of state Chief Secretary Ramesh Negi and Law Secretary Onit Panyang as well as Joint Registrars from Guwahati and Itanagar Permanent Bench High Courts, they discussed various issues related to justice delivery in Arunachal Pradesh.

Tuki calls for Team Papum Pare spirit, gives priority on road connectivity

tuukiYUPIA, May 13: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today called upon all the officers and Panchayat leaders to work as team Papum Pare and to keep up-to date records of schemes and projects that are taken up by the various departments. He also informed that changing pattern of financing state Govt under 14th FC recommendations has affected the state budgeting process and therefore, Govt is endeavoring to prepare a realistic and meaningful budget that will benefit the public.

Martyrs Memorial at Itanagar soon

tuukkiITANAGAR, May 11: The state is all set to establish a state-of-the-art Arunachal Pradesh Martyrs Memorial at Itanagar in memory of those soldiers killed while fighting the invading Chinese army in 1962. While the blueprints of the proposed Martyrs Memorial have been prepared by experts like retired Army Generals from Indian Army and is ready for execution, the construction part would start soon.

Arunachalee lifter to represent country at World Championship in Poland
