CM begs Centre to continue Special state status for Arunachal

State says goodbye to outgoing Governor

governorITANAGAR, May 24: The state government gave a ceremonial farewell to outgoing Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma and the First Lady with state honour at a function organized at Golden Jubilee Banquet hall here on Saturday evening.
Sharma has been appointed as the Governor of Mizoram and he will be replaced by JP Rajkhowa as the new Governor of the state. Rajkhowa is slated to take oath on June 1.
