Arunachal Film Festival to begin from Friday

ARP-MUSIC-FEST 12 8 2013ITANAGAR: The second edition of the Arunachal Film Festival, an initiative of the department of information and public relations (IPR), will start from February 28. It will showcase films and documentaries by enterprising individuals as well as government agencies.

"The festival is a project which was begun to encourage filmmakers and foster the talent of budding entrepreneurs," IPR secretary Dani Sulu told a press conference here on Wednesday.

Bomdila: The district gears up to wear a festive look for the proposed maiden visit of Chief Minister Nabum Tuki in about a weeks time which coincidentally is also the beginning of the annual Drub-Chod-Chenmo festival; also popularly known as the Torgya celebrated by the Monpas.
