Arunachal People’s Choice Awards 2014 begins For the first time.

apca-logoAadil Mir, Itanagar, Sep 11: For the first time Arunachal People's Choice Awards (APCA) 2014 is all set to kick start this month to reward excellence in media and business. APCA 2014 is a congregation of media, entrepreneurs and society to bring about the positive energy the state lives with. PR North East a division of Business North East group is the host organiser of the event. Altogether 41 nominees across the state have been nominated for various categories under media and business.

Teachers day Celebrated across India 30 Teachers honored with State Awards In Arunachal

teachersAadil Mir, Itanagar, Sept 5: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki saluted the contribution of teachers of the state in shaping the young students. Altogether 30 Teachers have been honoured with the State Teachers Award for 2014 at a Teachers' Day celebration function organized at Banquet Hall here today. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki presented a citation and a shawl each to the awardee teachers. Addressing a large gathering of teachers, academicians and students, Chief Minister Nabam Tuki saluted the contribution of teachers of the state in shaping the young students.

FILM FESTIVAL FOR NE BEGAN IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH

NEDevesh Dubey, New Delhi, Sep 03: The Film Festival for northeast The Travelling Players; began in Arunachal Pradesh’s capital Itanagar this week. This is the first time a film festival has travelled to Arunachal.The festival aims to inculcate in children an interest in cinema. Travelling to the remote and isolated pockets of the northeast, the festival is greatly anticipated. It will continue in Arunachal till September 6.

Film festival begins today in Arunachal Pradesh

miffAadil Mir, ITANAGAR, June 17: The Parliamentary Secretary for IPR, Printing and Education Bamang Felix will be inaugurating the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) - Arunachal edition at Hotel Tosum Naharlagun today. Films Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Arunachal Pradesh is organizing the festival. Like most film festivals, entry will be free for the viewers. The three-day festival “MIFF in Arunachal Pradesh” will screen selected and many award winning films of Mumbai International Film festival, featuring documentary, short and animation films.
